Inditab Esolutions Private Limited (“EaseMyDeal”, “we”, “us”, “our”)
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of Inditab Esolutions Private Limited (“EaseMyDeal”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and governs all refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, and reversals relating to services offered through the EaseMyDeal platform (web, app, APIs, and white-label integrations).
This Policy must be read in conjunction with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Grievance Redressal Policy. In case of conflict, product-specific terms in the T&C prevail for that product; this Policy sets general refund/cancellation principles. Disputes are resolved per Section 22 of the T&C (arbitration seated at New Delhi, courts at New Delhi for interim relief and enforcement).
By using our Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. General Principles
- EaseMyDeal acts only as a facilitator/technology provider. Underlying services (bill payments, recharges, credit card settlements, loans, gold, gift cards, travel bookings, etc.) are rendered by third-party service providers (banks, NBFCs, billers, card networks, issuers, travel operators).
- Refunds, cancellations, and reversals are therefore governed by the respective service provider’s terms. EaseMyDeal cannot override, accelerate, or guarantee refunds outside their processes.
- EaseMyDeal’s role is limited to:
- Acknowledging refund/cancellation requests,
- Initiating requests to the concerned PA/PG/service provider,
- Providing transaction references to Users, and
- Updating Users on the status of such requests.
- Service/Platform/convenience fees charged by EaseMyDeal are non-refundable.
2. Recharge & Bill Payments (BBPS/Bharat Connect)
- All successful recharge and bill payment transactions are final and non-refundable.
- In case of failure:
- If money is debited but service is not delivered, the transaction will be automatically reversed/refunded by the biller/BBPS operator, usually within 5–12 working days as per PA/Bank Guidelines.
- EaseMyDeal will not be liable for delays caused by banks/PAs/BBPS operators.
- Service/convenience fees charged by EaseMyDeal are non-refundable.
3. Credit Card Payment Services
- Payments made towards credit card bills are final and cannot be cancelled once submitted.
- If a transaction fails after debit from User’s account:
- The amount will be automatically reversed to the original source account as per bank timelines.
- Refunds may take up to 5–12 working days, depending on the bank/PA/card network.
- Service/convenience fees charged by EaseMyDeal are non-refundable.
4. Gold Services (Digital Gold, FD+ etc.)
- Purchase of gold is non-cancellable once executed. Reversals may occur only where the partner identifies a system error, failed vault allocation, or regulatory restriction, and initiates reversal per its policy.
- Redemption requests (sell, delivery, FD conversion) are irreversible once confirmed.
- Refunds, if any, are determined and processed solely by the gold issuer per its published policies; EaseMyDeal will forward requests and provide transaction references but cannot compel or expedite issuer decisions.
- Service/convenience fees charged by EaseMyDeal are non-refundable.
- Users are responsible for monitoring storage tenure and redeeming within the partner-specified period; unclaimed balances post-expiry are handled per partner policy and applicable law, with no refund obligation on EaseMyDeal.
5. Gift Cards & Gift PPI
- Gift cards/PPIs once purchased are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
- If a User enters incorrect beneficiary details, EaseMyDeal bears no responsibility for misuse.
- Expired/unused gift cards will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Service/convenience fees charged by EaseMyDeal are non-refundable.
6. Loan & Credit Services
- EaseMyDeal only facilitates loan/credit applications through partner banks/NBFCs and does not collect/disburse any amount.
- Loan application fees, processing charges, or rejection outcomes are determined solely by the lender. No refund will be processed by EaseMyDeal. Users must pursue remedies directly with the lender per the lender's KFS and T&C.
7. Travel Bookings (Flights, Hotels, Bus)
- Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and no-show penalties are subject to airline, bus operator, hotel, or aggregator policies. Supplier fare rules and T&C prevail over any EaseMyDeal marketing copy or indicative timelines; Users must review supplier rules at booking.
- EaseMyDeal cannot guarantee any refund beyond what is approved by the respective travel service provider.
- Service/convenience fees charged by EaseMyDeal are non-refundable.
8. Timelines for Refunds
- Refunds, where applicable, are processed only after confirmation from the respective service provider.
- Indicative refund timelines (from date of partner approval, not from User request):
- Bill payments & recharges: 5–12 working days.
- Card payments: 5–12 working days.
- Travel bookings: 7–21 working days (depending on operator).
- Other services: As per partner’s refund cycle.
Refund credits may reflect later due to PA/banking/settlement delays.
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Users may raise chargebacks with their issuing bank in accordance with card network rules.
- If the chargeback is upheld, the amount will be refunded by the bank/card network.
- EaseMyDeal bears no liability if a chargeback claim is rejected.
- Filing false or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and legal action. Users must first exhaust internal dispute resolution before initiating chargebacks where the transaction was legitimately delivered per partner confirmations.
10. Non-Refundable Components
- Convenience/processing fees charged by EaseMyDeal.
- Any third-party charges (payment gateway, bank, issuer).
- GST and statutory taxes already remitted.
- Supplier-imposed cancellation/no-show/change fees or penalties.
- Issued gift cards, purchased gold, or executed loan applications (unless partner initiates reversal).
11. Force Majeure & System Failures
EaseMyDeal shall not be liable for refunds arising from:
- Service provider downtime, API failures, outages, or maintenance (BBPS, NPCI, card networks, airline/hotel reservation systems).
- Payment gateway, bank, or UPI/NEFT/RTGS/IMPS disruptions.
- Force majeure events (natural calamities, strikes, cyberattacks, government restrictions).
- User errors (incorrect details, duplicate payments, expired cards).
12. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, EaseMyDeal’s maximum liability in connection with refunds or cancellations shall not exceed: the convenience fee actually retained by EaseMyDeal for the disputed transaction, or INR 100, whichever is lower.
- If no fee was retained, EaseMyDeal’s liability is nil.
13. Grievance Redressal
For refund or cancellation issues, Users may raise a complaint via:
Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved as per the Grievance Redressal Policy.
14. Amendments
This Policy may be updated periodically. Updates will be published on the Platform with a “Last Updated” date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
